01Specification

iGaming turnkey solution

The platform under your own licence, on your own infrastructure. Turnkey iGaming software deployed in your cloud or data centre and connected to your licence, your PSPs and your KYC providers. We build, harden, document, hand over and support. You own the data and the operation. Our implementation takes 6–9 months; the calendar date depends on licence approval and on how fast PSP and content contracts are signed, so every dependency sits on a dated plan.

02Assembly view

Three layers, two of them yours.

Your brand on top, our engine deployed in your cloud, your licence at the base. The same engine as a white label, assembled differently: the platform runs in your environment and the licence is in your name. Platform1 is the engineering layer, not the owner.

Layer A · yours

Your brand

Brand, front-end, marketing, affiliates, player relationship and first-line support.

Layer B · Platform1 engine in your cloud

Deployed, hardened, supported

Player accounts, game aggregation, bonus engine, cashier routing, KYC tooling, back office, deployed into your environment and kept current under the support contract.

Layer C · yours

Your licence

The gaming licence, regulator contact, PSP and studio contracts, merchant accounts, hosting account and the player data in it.

The busOne agreement with the responsibility split in who holds what and one dated plan. Implementation 6–9 months; the licence sets the date.

03Parts list

Ten parts. Six modules, plus what makes it turnkey.

What turnkey iGaming software includes: the six platform modules, plus the deliverables a licence application and an in-house team need. The modules are the same as on every route; parts 07 to 10 are what makes it turnkey.

04Deployment options

Three places the platform can run.

The regulator's hosting rules and your infrastructure team decide which. All three use the same deployment tooling, so the choice can change later without a rebuild. The platform and the data stay under your licence and your contract in every case.

Option A · your cloud

Your AWS, GCP or Hetzner account

In the region your licence requires. We provision environments with infrastructure-as-code, deploy and harden the platform and hand you the keys. You pay the cloud provider directly.

  • Region selected for data residency
  • Encrypted at rest and in transit, daily backups
  • Your IAM; our deployment access scoped and audited
Option B · your data centre

Your own hardware

For regulators that require in-country physical hosting, or operators with existing hardware. We specify server and network requirements, install on your virtualisation layer and document the runbook for your team.

  • Hardware and network specification provided
  • Installation, hardening and monitoring set up on site or remotely
  • Runbook and training for your operations team
Option C · managed

Platform1-managed, dedicated environment

If you hold the licence but do not want to run infrastructure, we host a dedicated environment for you with ISO 27001-certified cloud providers in the EU or another agreed region, under your licence and your contract.

  • Dedicated environment, not shared with other brands
  • Monitoring, backups and DDoS protection included
  • Can be moved to your own account later
NoteCard data never touches the platform in any option: tokenisation with PCI DSS-certified PSPs. Hosting is a pass-through cost on your contract in options A and B, and part of the support contract in option C.

05Who holds what

Three parties, no overlap.

On turnkey, most of the column headed "you" is filled in. A turnkey iGaming solution works when it is clear who owns what. This is the standard allocation between you, Platform1 and the regulator; it goes into the agreement as written here.

06Timeline

Implementation in 6–9 months. The licence is the long bar.

Deployment is the short bar; licence approval and PSP and studio contracts are the long ones. Our implementation time. The calendar date depends on licence approval, your infrastructure readiness and how fast PSP and content contracts are signed. Dated project plan after discovery, weekly status against it.

Platform1 / your workThird-party contracts: PSPs, studios, licence holder. They set the calendar date

NoteHatched bars are third-party timing. Licence approval is set by the regulator and the completeness of your file; PSP, KYC and studio contracts are signed by those providers. Both can run past month nine on some routes, and the real-money launch waits for the licence. The solid bars are ours and are the part we commit to.

07Pricing

Project fee, support contract. No revenue share.

Turnkey cost: a project fee, a support contract, your own third-party contracts at cost. We quote per project after a scoping call, because licence route, hosting choice and the amount of customisation change the numbers. The structure does not change.

01 · one-off · milestones

Project fee

Discovery and architecture, deployment and hardening in your environment, integration of your PSPs, KYC and studios, front-end and bonus customisation, certification support, documentation, training and transfer of control. Paid against the milestones in the timeline, itemised in the proposal.

02 · monthly · fixed

Support contract

Platform updates and security patches on agreed change windows, 24/7 monitoring, the SLA (99.9% uptime target, 4 hours critical response, service credits), new studios and payment methods added as they are released. A fixed amount, independent of your GGR.

03 · your contracts · at cost

Third parties

Hosting with your cloud provider or data centre, PSP and gateway transaction fees, game studio fees, KYC checks, licence and regulator fees, test-lab certification. Contracted and paid by you directly; nothing passes through Platform1 with a mark-up.

04 · quoted separately

Optional extras

Fully custom front-end, bespoke modules on the core, data migration from an existing casino, Platform1-managed hosting (option C in deployment), additional environments for a second brand or market.

What moves the price

The licence route and its certification requirements, whether you deploy to a cloud account or to physical hardware, how many PSPs and studios need integrating on day one, and how far the front-end and bonus logic go beyond the standard product.

What does not

Your GGR (there is no revenue share on turnkey), the number of back-office users, and the number of games you enable from the catalogue.

08Licence routes

You hold the licence. We make the application technically ready.

Platform1 is a technology provider and does not hold a gaming licence. We have delivered platforms for operators under the regimes below and prepare the technical part of each application; your legal advisers handle the corporate and legal part.

RouteTypical usePlatform & hosting requirementsIndicative timing

NoteTimings are observations from past applications, not promises: they depend on the regulator and the completeness of your file, not on the platform. Regulators change their pace. The platform side of every route is covered by the implementation time in the timeline.

09Turnkey vs white label

When the licence, data and platform have to be yours.

Turnkey is the route when the licence, the data and the platform have to be yours. Here is when white label is the better first step. Same engine either way. The decision is about who holds the licence, where the platform runs and what you want to own in three years.

Go white label if

This is a first brand or a market test

Lower upfront cost, 8–12 weeks implementation and no licence application of your own. Prove the market first; the move to turnkey later is a planned migration, not a rebuild.

Go white label if

You have no infrastructure or compliance team yet

Turnkey puts hosting, licence reporting and PSP contracts in your name. If nobody in the company owns those yet, a partner licence carries them for you while the team is built.

Stay turnkey if

The regulator, your investors or your exit plan require ownership

Most EU/EEA national regimes require the operator’s own licence and in-country data. Term sheets often require the platform in your environment. Both point to turnkey from day one.

10Questions

Turnkey questions.

The questions we hear on every first call about a turnkey iGaming solution. If yours is not here, book a 30-minute call and ask the engineers directly.

Book a 30-minute call
How long does a turnkey iGaming platform take?
Plan for 6–9 months from a signed agreement. Our implementation time. The calendar date depends on licence approval, your infrastructure readiness and how fast PSP and content contracts are signed. The technical deployment is usually the shorter part; licence approval is the long one, so the application work starts in month one and sits on the dated plan as the critical path.
Do I need my own licence before we start?
No. The licence application runs in parallel with the technical work, and we prepare the technical documentation the regulator asks for. You do need the licence before a real-money launch, and you remain the applicant and the licence holder. Platform1 never holds the gaming licence.
Where does the turnkey platform run?
In your AWS, GCP or Hetzner account, in your own data centre, or on a Platform1-managed dedicated environment hosted with ISO 27001-certified providers if you prefer not to run infrastructure. In all three cases the platform and the data sit under your licence and your contract.
What do I own at the end of a turnkey project?
The deployed platform in your environment, your player data, your configuration and the documentation. The support contract covers updates, monitoring and incident response; if it ends, the platform keeps running in your environment under the licence terms in the agreement.
How is turnkey iGaming software priced?
A project fee for deployment, integration, customisation, documentation and handover, plus a support contract for updates, monitoring and the SLA. Hosting, game content, PSP and licence fees are on your own contracts and pass through at cost. Quoted per project after a scoping call. No hidden fees, no spots, no countdowns.
Can I start on white label and move to turnkey later?
Yes, and it is a common path: a first brand under a partner licence, then a turnkey deployment under your own licence once the market is proven. Player accounts, balances, KYC states, bonus history and affiliate data move in a planned cut-over, typically 10–16 weeks. The front-end stays the same, so players see no change. See white label and migration.
