About Platform1

A small senior iGaming platform team, building since 2004. Platform1 is the productised version of work the founders have done for operators for 20+ years: casino and sportsbook platforms, migrations, payment and crypto cashiers. The brand is new (2024); the people and the codebase are not. The company behind it is Platform1 OÜ, registered in Tallinn.

  • You talk to the engineers who configure and maintain your platform
  • 99.9% uptime and 4 hours critical response, in the contract
  • Timelines quoted as our implementation time; contracts set the date
  • No gaming licence of our own: the operator or a licensed partner holds it

02Story

Twenty years of building for operators, then a product of our own.

The short version. The long version is a list of wallets, bonus engines, migrations and regulator reports that nobody puts on a website.

2004–2015. The founders started as engineers building casino and sportsbook platforms for operators, first in the Baltics and Nordics, then in Central and Eastern Europe. That meant the unglamorous parts: wallets, bonus engines, game-provider integrations, back offices an operations team can actually use, and the reporting regulators ask for.

2015–2023. The work shifted to modernising existing stacks: migrating player bases off ageing platforms without losing balances or bonus history, replacing payment layers, adding KYC providers, and from 2021 building a crypto cashier alongside fiat. Projects took the team to Latin America, Southern Africa and Asia-Pacific, each with its own licence rules and payment rails.

2024. We turned the platform we kept rebuilding for clients into a product and put it under one name: Platform1. White label and turnkey routes, one codebase, a written SLA, and the same engineers on the call.

03Principles

Four things we will not compromise on.

Most platform vendors sell through account managers and quote the fastest number that gets a signature. We do neither. These principles are in every proposal we send.

Note A

You talk to the engineers

No account-manager layer. The people who configure and maintain your platform are the people on the call.

Note B

Senior team, since 2004

The founders have built and operated casino and sportsbook platforms for 20+ years across regulated and grey markets.

Note C

Honest timelines

We quote our implementation time as a range and say what moves the calendar date: licence, PSP contracts, studio contracts. Those contracts are signed by third parties, so no 48-hour promises.

Note D

Written SLA

99.9% uptime target, 4 hours response on critical incidents, service credits if we miss it.

04Milestones

The short version of a long road.

Milestones, 2004 to now. Each bar is work the same people did. The diamond marks are the moments that changed what we sell.

05How we engage

From first call to signed scope, nothing is left vague.

You should know what you are buying, when it will be live and what it costs before you commit.

1With us · 30 min

Scoping call

30 minutes with an engineer, not a salesperson. Markets, licence route, content, payments, migration if any. We tell you on the call if we are not the right fit.

2Within 2 business days

Written proposal

Scope, a dated plan with its dependencies, and pricing on the setup fee + revenue share model. Quoted per project after a scoping call. No hidden fees, no spots, no countdowns.

3In the agreement

Fixed scope

What is in the agreement is what gets built. Changes are written up and priced before work starts, never discovered on the invoice.

4From soft launch

SLA from day one

Monitoring, response times and service credits are part of the contract, not an add-on. The SLA is active from soft launch.

06Commitments in writing

The numbers that are in the contract, not on a slide.

These are contractual service levels, not past results. If we miss them, you get service credits.

08Questions

Straight answers.

Questions about the company. Anything else, book a 30-minute call and ask the engineers directly.

Book a 30-minute call
Is Platform1 an operator or a technology provider?
A technology provider. We build, deploy and support casino platforms; we do not run casinos ourselves and we do not hold a gaming licence on behalf of operators. Every brand on Platform1 operates under the operator’s own licence or that of a licensed partner.
How big is the Platform1 team?
Deliberately small and senior. The founders have worked on iGaming platforms since 2004, and the engineers who configure your platform are the ones on your calls. We add contractors for front-end and content work when a project needs it.
Why is the brand from 2024 if the team has worked since 2004?
Platform1 is the productised version of a platform the founders kept rebuilding for clients. The codebase, the modules and the people predate the brand. The company name, the written SLA and the two productised routes, white label and turnkey, date from 2024.
Where is the platform hosted?
With ISO 27001-certified cloud providers in the EU by default, or in your own cloud or data centre on the turnkey route. Card data is handled only by PCI DSS-certified PSPs; the platform stores tokens, never card numbers.
Can you give references?
Yes, on request and with the client’s consent, during the scoping stage. We do not publish client names or revenue figures on the website.
