Buy casino software

What you are actually buying: a subscription, a licence or the source code. "Buy an iGaming platform" can mean three different contracts with very different costs, ownership and timelines. This page explains each one, what a turnkey package contains, how the costs are structured, and what to ask any vendor before you sign. No prices on the page, because honest prices depend on your markets; the quote itemises them.

02Three ways to buy

Subscription, licence or perpetual. Same platform in all three.

What changes is who holds the gaming licence, where the software runs, and what you own at the end.

PricingQuoted per project after a scoping call. No hidden fees, no spots, no countdowns.

03Turnkey package

Six modules, delivered as one installation.

What is in a turnkey package before any custom work: the scope of a standard delivery. Everything reads and writes the same player, wallet and game-round data; nothing on this list is an add-on.

04Cost structure

Where the money goes, line by line.

No numbers here, because honest numbers depend on your markets. We publish the structure so you can compare quotes on the same basis. Ours: setup fee + revenue share on white label; project fee plus support contract on turnkey.

LineItemWhenCovers
01Setup feeOne-off · at signingConfiguration, brand application, integrations for your markets, QA and launch work. Itemised in the proposal.
02Revenue share or licence feeMonthlyA percentage of NGR on white label; a fixed licence fee on turnkey. Minimums and caps are written into the contract, not discovered later.
03Support contractMonthly · turnkeyMonitoring 24/7, 4 hours critical response, updates and security patches, service credits if we miss the SLA. Included in the revenue share on white label.
04Third-party costsPaid to the providerGaming licence and compliance, PSP fees and reserves, game content revenue share, KYC checks, hosting if the platform runs in your cloud. Passed through at cost and listed in the scoping document.
05Custom developmentOnly if you askEstimated in writing after discovery, with a change-request process. See custom development.

What moves the price

Number of target markets and languages, how many PSPs on day one, whether you bring your own KYC provider, whether the front-end is a theme or a custom build, and on turnkey, the infrastructure you want it deployed into.

What does not

Player volume on the platform side, number of back-office users, and the number of games you enable from the catalogue.

05Timelines

The platform is the short part. Contracts set the date.

From signed agreement to first real player. Both figures are our implementation time, quoted as ranges; contracts with third parties set the calendar date. The dated plan you get at scoping tracks every licence, PSP and studio contract and is updated weekly.

White label · partner licence · our implementation

8–12 weeks

The platform itself is configured in days; the time goes into KYC on your company, payment-provider onboarding and content agreements under the partner licence.

NoteThis is our implementation time, counted from a signed agreement and completed KYC. The calendar date depends on how fast contracts with payment providers and game studios are signed under the licence: that part is outside our control and usually sets the pace.
Turnkey · your own licence · our implementation

6–9 months

Licence approval and your infrastructure readiness set the pace; the technical deployment is usually the shorter part. A source-code licence follows the same plan plus a handover stage.

NoteOur implementation time. The calendar date depends on licence approval, your infrastructure readiness and how fast PSP and content contracts are signed.

06Due diligence

Ask any vendor these questions. Including us.

Most bad platform purchases are not about features. They are about who holds what, and what happens when the relationship ends. Get the answers in writing.

Check 01

Who holds the licence?

If it is the vendor or a partner, what are your rights if that licence is suspended or the partner exits? Platform1 never holds the licence; the operator or a licensed partner does.

Check 02

Who owns the data?

Player records, transaction history and affiliate data: can you export them, in what format, and how fast? On turnkey the database is in your infrastructure.

Check 03

What are the exit terms?

Length of the notice period, transition support, and whether the vendor can hold the brand or domain hostage. Ours are written into the agreement.

Check 04

Is there source escrow?

For turnkey, what triggers release and who the escrow agent is. Available on request as part of the licence.

Check 05

What does the SLA actually say?

Uptime target, response times by severity, and the credits paid when it is missed. Ours: 99.9% uptime, 4 hours critical response, service credits.

Check 06

Can you speak to references?

Operators on the same route and in similar markets, not a logo wall. We arrange calls under NDA.

Check 07

Who is on the call after you sign?

The engineers who built it, or an account-management layer in front of a ticket queue? With us, the engineers.

Check 08

What is on the invoice that is not the platform?

Licence, PSP, content and KYC costs are paid to third parties. Ask for them listed before signing, not after.

Can I buy the casino software source code outright?
A perpetual or source-code licence is quoted case by case, usually for groups with their own engineering team or a regulator that requires it. It is not a catalogue item. Most buyers are better served by turnkey with source escrow, which gives continuity protection without the cost of maintaining a fork.
What is the minimum I need to budget beyond the platform?
Licence fees, payment-provider setup and reserves, game content revenue share, KYC checks per verification and hosting if the platform runs in your cloud. These are paid to third parties and vary by market. We list them in the scoping document so the total is visible before you sign.
How long until the brand is live after I buy an iGaming platform?
White label: 8–12 weeks of our implementation time from a signed agreement. Turnkey under your own licence: 6–9 months. This is our implementation time, counted from a signed agreement and completed KYC. The calendar date depends on how fast contracts with payment providers and game studios are signed under the licence: that part is outside our control and usually sets the pace.
Who owns the player data?
On turnkey, you do: the database runs in your infrastructure. On white label, the licensed operator of record holds the player relationship under the licence, and the contract sets out your rights to the data and what happens at exit. Read that clause with any vendor, including us.
What happens if we want to leave?
The contract defines notice periods, data export format and transition support. On turnkey you keep the installation under the licence terms; on white label, player data migrates to your own licence in a planned cut-over, typically 10–16 weeks. We would rather lose a client cleanly than keep one by making exit hard, and the agreement is written that way.
